Buy a GARAGE card

The GARAGE Card is valid for 1 year after its activation. To receive and activate your GARAGE card you need to sign to agree to the use of your personal information. You can do this at Garage information desk or the Narkomfin Building daily from 11:00 to 22:00.

Students can purchase a card for the special price of 2,500 roubles. Student cards can be purchased at the Museum information desk.

Before your visit to Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, please read the visitor policies.

While visiting the Museum, please refrain from:

• Smoking anywhere in the museum
• Touching or resting on works of art and other objects
• Bringing pets or other animals into the museum
• Bringing luggage or other similar large bags into the museum
• Entering the exhibition space while wearing coats, jackets and other outerwear
• Carrying weapons of any kind into the Museum, including pneumatic rifles and aerosols, as well as fireworks and other explosives
• Eating and drinking in the Auditorium, Kids’ Studio, Atrium, LAB, and the Central, East, and West Galleries
• Entering the Museum with bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, or other similar objects
• Talking on mobile phones if not permitted in the exhibition space
• Carry out campaigns and/or other activities addressed to an unlimited number of people, including displaying signs or other symbols designed to incite hatred on the basis of religion or nationality, insulting participants in events or visitors to the Museum, and acting in a way that humiliates and/or offends human dignity.

Visitors with children:

• There is a baby changing table in the bathroom on the 1st floor (to the left of the bar)

Photo and video

Personal still photography and video is permitted inside Garage. However, accreditation is necessary for the use of professional video equipment on the premises. Please email pr@garagemca.org.

Parking

Free parking spaces for visitors with disabilities are located on Krymsky Val by the main entrance to Gorky Park.

Elevators

Garage has an elevator that goes to the first floor. Visitors are welcome to use it without Garage staff. There is also a lift that goes to the mezzanine. To get to the mezzanine, please ask a member of staff. Kids Studio and Glass Room are on the mezzanine.

Toilets

Accessible toilets for wheelchair users are located on the ground floor and on the mezzanine. To get to the mezzanine, please ask a member of staff.

Folding chairs

Visitors can use folding chairs if needed. Please ask for a chair at the information desk on the ground floor.

Guide dogs

Guide dogs are welcome in the Museum. You can get a water bowl at the information desk.

Wheelchairs

The Museum cloakroom has wheelchairs for visitors to use. To borrow a wheelchair please ask the cloakroom staff.
