LibraryYou no longer need to wait months to receive rare books from abroad. Garage Library now houses leading Russian and international publications on art, photography, design, and philosophy, as well as exhibition catalogues and artists’ monographs in the country’s first public library dedicated to contemporary art.
Garage ShopAt Garage Shop you can buy books on art and culture, architecture, design, and photography, including exhibition catalogues, coffee table books, and the Museum’s own publications. There are also clothes and souvenirs created in collaboration with artists especially for Garage.
- Garage CaféGarage Café serves food and drinks for every taste, including vegetarian and keto menus, dishes for kids, breakfasts, hot dishes, soups and salads, desserts (including sugar-free), and snacks to accompany our Russian wines and original cocktails. Special menus are developed for exhibitions and holidays periods.
Garage ScreenGarage Screen was launched in 2012 to bring audiences the best of Russian and international features, documentaries, experimental films, the latest festival releases, and animation. Screenings take place in Garage Auditorium and in the summer cinema on Gorky Park’s Garage Square during the warmer months. The program has been developed by IRIS Foundation.
Garage Education CenterPlace where adults and children can visit workshops, lectures, and seminars by leading artists and curators. Theoretical and practical courses on international and Russian contemporary art, culture, architecture, and music are also offered.
Salyut PlaygroundSalyut Playground is the largest public, open-air playground in Russia. It comprises nine separately designed playgrounds where visitors can interact with sand, water, color, sound, height, and depth, as well as a variety of textures, shapes, and scales. Each playground can be explored with all senses.
