Guillermo Kuitca
Argentine painter Guillermo Kuitca, born in 1961 in Buenos Aires, is widely considered one of the most important contemporary artists in South America. Architecture, theater, music and cartography play a central role in his work, where maps and blueprints are condensed into a world of poetic and territorial fantasies, and reality and fiction overlap. This book was published on the occasion of exhibition “Guillermo Kuitca: Das Lied von der Erde” (November 24, 2006 — March 18, 2007) held at Daros Exhibitions, Zurich.
