DESCRIPTION

Garage Screen and the Beat Film Festival, an international festival of documentary films about music and new culture, present Beat Weekend 2024 at Garage.

Beat Weekend is the annual follow-up to Beat Film Festival, which this year takes place in 26 cities. The program includes this year’s audience favorites, as well as the best films of previous years.

The screenings in Garage Auditorium will feature important films warmly welcomed by the audiences at the festival—Free to Run about the icons of the running movement and its culture, and Lynch/Oz, which explores the sources of David Lynch’s inspiration—as well as this year’s premieres, The Driven Ones, which follows five students at the world’s best business school in their pursuit of success, and two films about key figures in the film industry: Michel Gondry: Do it Yourself! on the greatest dreamer in contemporary film, and Bonnie, which sheds light on the underappreciated work of a casting director.
