On September 28, Garage Members can see the new season’s projects a day before they open to the public.

This autumn, Garage is showing the first Russian retrospective exhibition of Belgian artist Marcel Broodthaers, which brings together all of his best-known works. In the East Gallery, visitors can see The Fabric of Felicity—a project exploring clothes outside the context of fashion. bauhaus imaginista. Moving Away: The Internationalist Architect is devoted to the director and students of Bauhaus who came to work and live in the Soviet Union.

Anri Sala’s sound installation The Last Resort based on Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major will be shown in the Museum’s Atrium, while in Garage Square visitors will find The Modern Garden—an installation of plywood, metal, and concrete sculptures inspired by commercial logos by Mexican artist Damián Ortega.

The widow of Marcel Broodthaers Maria Gilissen-Broodthaers and critic and curator Magalí Arriola will discuss the exhibition Marcel Broodthaers. Poetry and Images at Garage Auditorium. The discussion in English with simultaneous interpreting into Russian will be moderated by Garage’s chief curator Kate Fowle.
