Robert Longo. Luminous Discontent
This bilingual book was published to accompany the exhibition of American artist Robert Longo featuring an essay by Olivia Murphy, a New York based writer and artist. Luminous Discontent, the exhibition of large‑scale charcoal drawings and sculpture of Robert Longo, was held from April 16 till May 21 in 2016 at Paris Marais gallery. From a massive iceberg to a shattered glass window and X‑rays of paintings by Old Masters, all of the images are rendered in Longo's signature medium.
