Takashi in Superflat Wonderland
Catalog is dedicated to a personal exhibition “Takashi in Superflat Wonderland” that was held in PLATEAU, Seul, 2013. Catalog consists of artist’s biography, interviews and list of works. “Superflat” is a theory developed by Murakami that refined and expanded on the idea of Japanese neo-pop and Po-Ku. It attemped to establish an independent lineage of Japanese pop art by retracing the historical origins of manga and anime”.
