Access for people with disabilities

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art organizes regularly scheduled events for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Kids and adults are invited to visit tours and open workshops interpreted into Russian Sign Language. Garage's Department of Inclusive Programs prepared a collection of articles on working with deaf and hard of hearing visitors. The closest free parking to Garage is located on Krymsky Val, next to the main entrance to Gorky Park.


Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and Garage Education Center are wheelchair accessible.


Elevators are located in the Museum. Please ask a member of staff.

Accessible Toilets

Disabled accessible toilets are located on the 1st floor of the Museum and in Garage Education Center.


Folding chairs are available. Please ask a member of staff.

Guide Dogs

Service dogs are welcome. Drinking bowls are available at Garage Information Desk.
