Alchemic Surrender
The catalogue is dedicated to an exhibition of The Soros Center for Contemporary Art in Ukraine, that took place in Sevastopl in 1994. It consists of two articles: first is written by curator Marta Kuzma, where she examines artists collaborations and the post-Revolutionary Avant-Garde echo of the 1990s; the second is called “Modernity, national Identity, and the Diaspora” by A. Benjamin continues this research from a philosophial point of view. The book also contains photos of art projects and artist biographies.
