For Deaf and hard of hearing visitors
Garage Museum of Contemporary Art organizes regularly scheduled events for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Kids and adults are invited to visit tours and open workshops interpreted into Russian Sign Language. Garage’s Department of Inclusive Programs prepared a collection of articles on working with deaf and hard of hearing visitors. Experiencing the Museum: Work with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Visitors at Garage is available for download here (PDF, 2,4 MB, in Russian).
Information for the professional community can be found on the platform Experiencing the Museum. Diversity and Inclusion.
Before your visit, we suggest you take a look at the social story (PDF, 4,7 MB) about visiting Garage.
