Before the screening of a film about René Redzepi, one of the planet’s greatest chefs, viewers are invited to a lecture about his phenomenal skill and influences.
Gastromony scholar Anna Kukulina will explain why all famous chefs go to Japan to search for inspiration and how the Japanese tradition of kaiseki has shaped contemporary restaurant culture as we know it.
The lecture will be followed by a screening of Ants on a Shrimp, shown as part of the Eat Film Festival.
