Garage invites visitors to join in guided dialogue-based tours of the new shows on display at the Museum. Developed by a team of deaf guides, each of the routes conveys a unique individual experience and emotional perception, as well as a personalized mode of communication with the viewer.
On select Thursdays and Sundays, Garage’s deaf guides will be sharing knowledge about the history of Soviet nonconformist art on show at Sekretiki: Digging Up Soviet Underground Culture, 1966–1985, explain the implications behind the project "We Treasure Our Lucid Dreams." The Other East and Esoteric Knowledge in Russian Art, 1905–1969 and point to certain aspects overlooked by many spectators, such as the interaction between art, fashion, and shop windows which is the subject of the exhibition Atelier E.B: Passer-by.
Each of the dialogue-oriented routes is unique and does not necessarily embrace all exhibition projects at once. These original tours, developed by deaf guides, provide an opportunity to look at the shows from multiple perspectives and explore the projects in great detail.
