Garage invites deaf and hard of hearing visitors on free tours of summer exhibitions.
Participants will take a trip back in time and experience the atmosphere of the hip Soviet café Vremena Goda, which opened half-a-century ago in the building that Garage currently occupies. They are then invited to see and discuss the project Dear Visitors… that marks the 10th anniversary of Garage and celebrates the key participant in all its programs: the museum visitor. The exhibition Zittern auf dem Sofa is devoted to this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Moscow and features a new project by Juergen Teller—one of the most radical contemporary photographers, who has defied beauty conventions and transformed fashion photography. Finally, the project Infinite Ear allows visitors to experience different hearing situations produced by artists who explore various aspects of sound and hearing.
