DESCRIPTION

My inner screen has been showing me various dreams since I was child. For some reason, I am so interested in them that I have been writing them down and sketching them since the age of twelve. Today I have a more mindful relationship with my unconscious: I try to write down everything I can remember. As well as being an entertaining practice, it is my second, parallel life, with its own unique experiences, details, and impressions. Sometimes, I can direct the development of my dreams, stay in them longer or change the plot. At times I have what you might call prophetic dreams. I do not see that to begin with, but later notice these stories unfolding in waking life, I notice coincidences and this never ceases to surprise me.

In 2017, I had my first solo exhibition on dreams, Fragile Visions, in which I showed 18 watercolors of dreams from different years, the earliest dating back to when I was nine. I continued sketching my dreams after that, and realized it could be a lifelong project. For the Triennial I drew eight dreams that I had during my relationship with PP.
