Jellyfish Eyes. Film screening with subtitles for deaf and hard of hearing visitors

DESCRIPTION

Takashi Murakami’s exhibition Under the Radiation Falls features the artist’s animation film Jellyfish Eyes made in 2013. On the last weekend of the exhibition, Garage invites deaf and hard of hearing visitors to an adapted screening of the film.

Jellyfish Eyes (2013) is Takashi Murakami’s debut as film director. The sci-fi film follows the life of Japanese school kids after an ecological disaster and tells the story Masashi and his classmates who meet F.R.I.E.N.D.S.—miraculous creatures only visible to children. The film stars several characters from Murakami’s paintings.
