DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and PIK invite visitors to guided tours of the exhibition bauhaus imaginista. Moving Away: The Internationalist Architect.

During the tour you will find out more about the history of the Bauhaus school and its key representatives and also have a unique opportunity to explore how the ideas of the Bauhaus school developed, being transmitted by its designers and architects into diverse cultural and political contexts, including Russia, Chile, Mexico, India, China, Israel/Palestine, Nigeria, and the United States. Special attention will be paid to Bauhaus teachers and students who lived and worked in the USSR and made a great contribution to the town-planning and architectural projects of our country.

Guided tours continue the series of special events organized as part of Garage and PIK's partnership program, based on a shared ambition to change lives and spaces for the better, bringing everyday comfort and new experiences to GARAGE visitors.

As a bonus, on this day all registered users will also get a chance to see the two other fall season exhibitions: The Fabric of Felicity and Marcel Broodthaers. Poetry and images.
