Curator of the exhibition at Garage, Snejana Krasteva, and curator of Garage Archive Collection, Sasha Obukhova will talk about a specially prepared section of the exhibition, which includes a partial reconstruction of the two most iconic exhibitions of kinetic art in the Soviet Union, connected with the legendary group Dvizhenie.
The history of kinetic art in this country is under-explored, and the guided tour is an opportunity to restore, unearth, and enrich aspects of the fascinating alternative story that developed in the Soviet Union.
