This program is devoted to landmark films that have changed cinema of their era or were ahead of their time. Still important and influential works, they inform contemporary cinema and artistic context.
The program is organized in collaboration with Film Art magazine.
Film Art magazine has been published since January 1931 and remains one of the oldest periodicals in the world about cinema. Each release highlights current issues in cinema and visual culture, and also includes rare archival publications, reviews of major international film festivals, Russian and foreign film screenings, and other materials.
