DESCRIPTION

The team at Garage Screen and Beat Film—the international festival of documentaries on music and new culture—have prepared a program of film screenings for Garage Screen summer cinema.

Garage Screen will run the premieres of the pictures Moments Like This Never Last about the late artist Dash Snow, an iconic symbol of the 2000s New York scene and Moby Doc—a touching autobiopic of the electronic scene’s smartest hero. The program also features Radiograph of a Family—a poetic Iranian family drama, The Nowhere Inn—an intellectual mockumentary about the indie diva St. Vincent, as well as films about the pioneer of French techno Laurent Garnier (Laurent Garnier: Off the Record) and Shane MacGowan, ex-frontman of the Irish punk band The Pogues (Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan).
