Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble will present their second program for Quiet, Please—a series of quiet music events at Garage Library.

Continuing the series of experimental music performances at the library, the concert will feature works by Russian and international composers that explore the phenomenon of silence.

ABOUT THE PARTICIPANTS

Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME) is an independent collective of professional musicians—some of the leading Russian performers specializing in contemporary music. Founded in 1990 by Yuri Kasparov with the help of the famous Russian composer Edison Denisov, MCME became the first Russian ensemble to focus on promoting twentieth- and twenty-first-century music and the support of contemporary composers
