DESCRIPTION

This August, Garage resumes its free guided tours for visitors with intellectual disabilities of the Museum’s buildings located in Gorky Park.

These adapted excursions will acquaint the participants with the Soviet avant-garde and modernist architecture. Together with the guide, the group will explore Garage Museum of Contemporary Art—a monument of Soviet Modernism, pay a visit to the Education Center and Garage’s office located in a building originally erected in 1893 and reconstructed by Alexei Shchusev thirty years later. The tour will conclude with a workshop where each participant can become an architect and make a model of their own building.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Free for visitors with disabilities and one carer, with proof of disability.

Please, register by email openmuseum@garagemca.com no later than 7 days prior to the planned visit.
