Igor Ioganson was born in Moscow. He graduated from the Sculpture Faculty of Moscow State Surikov Academy of Fine Arts (1962). Together with Igor Danilov and Marina Perchikhina he founded the non‑commercial contemporary art gallery Spider & Mouse (Moscow, 1994). He is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists and the Union of Authors of Russia.
