Miro. Catalogue raisonné. Drawings. Volume I: 1901–1937
Joan Miro (1893–1983) is one of the twentieth century’s most influential artists. The edition of the Catalogue Raisonne of drawings will be published in seven volumes. They will include the artist’s works on paper from 1901 to 1983, drawings on pencil, watercolor, gouache, pastel and works in various media on paper and other supports such as card, cardboard, metal or wood. In the seven volumes — all to be published only in English — all works are reproduced in color, whenever possible, accompanied by their title, date, technique, and dimensions, with indication of signature and inscriptions on the back, as well as their noting collection, provenance, important exhibitions and major publications where they are reproduced.
