Author

Vladimir Kocharyan is a documentary film maker and curator. He was born and grew up in Yakutia in the family of an Armenian father and a Sakha mother. He worked as a creative producer at Lendoc Studio of Documentary Film and the executive director of the journal Iskusstvo kino. Currently he is curator of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival and conducts film research. In 2024, he will release his documentary Yakut Cinema: Between Different Worlds.
