Applicants to the Garage and Higher School of Economics’ full-time master's program Curatorial Practices in Contemporary Art at will be able to apply for two study grants from SIBUR. The grants will be provided on a competitive basis to applicants who have successfully passed the entrance examinations.
The competition is part of SIBUR's Formula for Good Deeds social investment program. Applicants from any region of Russia can take part in the grant competition.
After completing the master’s program, grant competition winners will be able to gain work experience in their specialty on a cultural or creative industries project in a city where SIBUR operates. Subsequent work in a city where the company operates is a prerequisite for participation in the competition. Graduates will be offered an employment contract for a period of 24 to 30 months. Grant applicants must pay for the first semester of the master's program themselves, successfully complete the winter session, and receive a positive assessment from the Museum and the university. In this case, SIBUR will pay for the remaining three semesters. The decision to award grants is made by an expert committee of representatives from SIBUR and the Garage Department at HSE.
