Garage Bookshop offers a selection of New Year gifts for any taste.

The team at Garage has prepared a collection of souvenirs for the winter holidays. This year we have decided to focus on home accessories: although our living spaces have become our offices, meeting rooms, and lecture halls, home remains the place where we want to feel cozy and comfortable.

Exclusively for Garage, Windsor Soap has created three scents for candles, aroma diffusers, and room sprays: citrus & amber, rosemary & biscuit, and pecan & vanilla. Our selection of sugar-free candies now features one in the shape of a nine-pointed star.

New Garage publications available at the bookshop include the album Contemporary Wooden Architecture in Russia by architecture historian Nikolay Malinin that reviews the projects built over the past 20 years; Pavel Pepperstein’s memoir Exhibitionist; Andrey Smirnov’s In Search of Lost Sound about experimental sound culture in Russia and the USSR in the first half of the twentieth century, and Eisenstein for the 21st Century—a collection of articles for the 120th birthday of the director.

A limited-edition Garage membership card issued for the 2nd Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art is a great present to extend the fun beyond the winter holidays and take one’s relationships with the Museum to a new level. Members’ benefits include discounts at the bookshop and café, special prices for film screenings and much more. To learn more about the card and how to purchase or gift it, visit our website, or ask our staff at the information stand.

Another gift idea is a limited edition artwork produced by a Russian or an international artist for the Garage Limited Editions project launched this year. Works by two artists featured in the 2nd Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art, Zina Isupova and Anton Kushaev, are already available at the bookshop. All works are framed and come packaged and with an authenticity certificate. Part of the proceeds from the sale of Garage Limited Edition works will be transferred to Garage Endowment Fund.

Another great present for any occasion is a bookshop gift card.
