Garage is launching something new—Garage Limited Editions

Garage Limited Editions is a series of limited edition artworks produced for Garage by Russian and international contemporary artists, both up-and-coming and well-known.

Unlike the practice of inviting artists to design souvenirs of varying complexity for particular projects, the Limited Editions series is not tied to the Museum’s exhibition program.

It offers young practitioners an opportunity to test the commercial format of a limited edition series, while established artists can use the program to produce work affordable for young collectors and art enthusiasts.

The first participants of the program are the artists of the 2nd Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art Anton Kushaev and Zina Isupova. Anton Kushaev has made a series of hand-painted etchings that build on his experiments with various systems of signs and meanings. Zina Isupova has produced appliqué pieces featuring various everyday objects.

Part of the profit from the sale of Garage Limited Editions works will be transferred to Garage Endowment Fund.
