New educational courses at Garage Museum of Contemporary Art

Date

1 DEC 2016

Garage welcomes everyone to the new season of educational courses for children, teenagers, and adults.

Garage educational courses are a great opportunity to develop one’s own ideas in the company of architects, literary critics, art historians, photographers, and other professionals who will provide support every step of the way. Garage education courses are a balance of theoretical and practical sessions that do not require advance preparation. There are courses for family groups and also for children, teenagers, and adults.

Participants of all ages can attend courses on the introduction to painting, radio journalism, photography, creative writing, architecture, and contemporary art. In the spring season, starting February 2017, Garage is pleased to announce three brand new areas: The future of the past century: understanding the Russian Avant-Garde (for children aged 7 upwards); Contemporary Classical Music: The Beginning (for adults); and Codes of Art: A Practical Workshop (for adults). The adult courses have been developed by Museum staff specially for those who want not only to master the basic terminology, but also to develop the skills required for further study in the fields of music and art.

Courses will take place from February to April 2017.
