Announcing the participants of the ICI Curatorial intensive in Moscow


In August, Garage is teaming up with Independent Curators International to produce a Curatorial Intensive in Moscow, the first short-course program for international curators in Russia. 

13 curators have been selected from an open call and will gather from Austria, Germany, Kosovo, Lebanon, South Africa, the USA, and Russia to spend a week together participating in discussions, lectures, and studio visits, as well as developing their own individual projects.

Participants: Liya Chechik (Jewish Museum & Tolerance Center, Moscow), Rachel Dedman (independent curator, Beirut), Naomi Hennig (Galerie im Turm, Berlin), Ivan Isaev (independent curator, Moscow), Kira Kheyfets (Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow), Aaron Kohn (Museum of African Design, Johannesburg), Boris Kostadinov (independent curator, Vienna), Alexey Korsi (Stella Art Foundation, Moscow), Vera Roiter (Polytechnic Museum,  Moscow), Maria Stepkina (The Federal State Budget Institution of Culture of the State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSIZO, Moscow), Elena Yaichnikova (independent curator, Moscow), and Megan Holly Witko (Dia Art Foundation, New York).
