Garage Center for Contemporary Culture has created a new café in its pavilion in Moscow’s Gorky Park, designed by the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban. Garage’s café will offer a menu of delicious freshly made organic and seasonal dishes created by Head Chef Denis Kalmis. The café will also host a series of master classes, so visitors can learn how to recreate signature dishes at home.
The café aims to produce simple food using quality ingredients. Delicious new dishes on the menu include: warm salad with goat cheese, spinach and grilled zucchini; tender rabbit fillet stewed in cream sauce; baked lamb meatballs with mashed artichoke and stewed miso salmon with mashed potatoes and wasabi. Each week, Head Chef Denis will also create a special menu with seasonal additions, and over the coming months, visitors can expect: cod with cherry sauce and turbot with honey-roasted pumpkin, a side of mango chutney and mushrooms.
With its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Garage’s café is the perfect venue for lunch, dinner or a coffee with friends. As well as sampling the new menu, visitors will also be able to enjoy classic dishes, including the café’s famous pizza.
