Grant program in support of young Russian artists 2014/2015

DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art continues its program in support of young Russian artists.

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to announce that from July 1 we will be accepting applications for our young artist support program for the year 2014/2015.

The program is designed to support young artists who are yet to begin earning money from their work and are thus in need of financial encouragement. Grants are awarded annually and consist of a 20,000 rouble monthly stipend. The number of grants awarded is decided by the grant committee. Applications will be accepted from representatives of institutions for arts education and from artists nominated by members of the grant committee. Artists applying independently will have their work examined by a panel of experts at Garage prior to acceptance of their applications by the committee.
