The art world today is organized in such a way that by far, not every artist can be heard. The podcast accompanying the 2020 Triennial is an attempt to change the situation and give the artist a voice.

Artists’ Dialogues is a podcast series that will accompany the Triennial A Beautiful Night for All the People throughout its duration. Each episode lasts from 40 to 90 minutes. During this time, participants of the podcast—the contributing artists of the 2nd Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art—will expose to you what makes them sad and happy, worries and pacifies, inspires and leaves them exhausted, irritates and reconciles with reality. Anything that makes silence impossible.

The podcasts are moderated by Ivan Isaev, Garage Studios curator, who knows most of the 2nd Triennial’s participants in person, and this acquaintance may well prompt a conversation around the project’s unofficial slogan, “Corruption and Love.”

You can listen to the podcast on SoundCloudApple Podcast or Yandex Music.

Questions and suggestions can be sent to garagepodcast@garagemca.org.

The podcasts have been recorded as part of the public program accompanying the 2nd Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art A Beautiful Night for All the People.
