On June 1 and 2, UNIQLO and Garage Museum of Contemporary Art will organise free yoga master classes on Garage Rooftop and the new Summer Cinema on Garage Square.
This spring, Garage and UNIQLO announced a strategic partnership based on a shared mission to provide affordable and accessible art and fashion for all. The partnership was launched with UNIQLO Free Friday Nights, which have become a tradition in the world’s leading museums. Thanks to UNIQLO, Garage exhibitions are now free for all visitors every Friday night.
The partnership continues with a series of yoga master classes with Arin Rauf, certified instructor of The American Yoga Association and Yoga School Moscow, which will take place in the open air: in Musem's new summer cinema on Garage Square and on Garage Rooftop. Every participant will get a UNIQLO AIRism t-shirt made of refreshingly light and breathable fabric that stays comfortable in any weather and throughout high-intensity exercise. Reflecting UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy, the AIRism collection offers a range of clothes for any occasion.
Garage has hosted a variety events promoting sports and healthy living, including a ping pong tournament for Rirkrit Tiravanija’s exhibition Tomorrow is the Question? and a three-hour yoga session Peace Practice that was part of the international YOKO ONO MORNING PEACE project.
