Darkness often evokes a sense of danger. Even simple objects and the cutest creatures may appear to be scary monsters when there is not enough light. But if you look closely you can find light in the darkness!
During the workshop, the Museum’s youngest visitors will explore the book Bright in the Night by Swedish artist Lena Sjöberg, reflect on what scares them the most in a dark room, and remember the most beautiful thing that they saw in nature at night. During the practical part of the workshop, they will create figures of scary monsters that will turn out to be not so frightening, and even, conversely, very nice when illuminated with a special flashlight.
