DESCRIPTION

Garage invites deaf and hard of hearing visitors to join online discussions on the second Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art.

Despite the temporary closure of Garage exhibition spaces, the Museum’s deaf guides invite visitors to continue discovering art and discussing it in Russian Sign Language online.

Triennial Dialogues will introduce participants to the exhibition and help trace connections between the artists and understand what drives contemporary art in Russia: friendship, professional networks, love, and chance. Discussions prepared by deaf guides Svetlana Bobkova and Anna Doronkova will allow participants to explore the Triennial from various perspectives and in every detail.

The discussions will take place on Zoom. Each conference allows for up to ten participants and will continue for 30 to 60 minutes.
