Transponans Journal. The Transfuturist Poets and Their Circle: A Lecture by Petr Kazarnovsky

DESCRIPTION

Although the authors who wrote for Transponans worked with a wide range of topics, devices, and strategies, they were still expected to be part of the general movement proposed by the magazine’s editors Ry Nikonova and Sergey Sigey.

The experiments of Leningrad-based poets A. Nik, Boris Konstriktor, and Vladimir Erl fit the premise, although the latter did eventually stray from the general line. The talk will cover the thematic and strategic similarities between the very different authors who wrote for the magazine, as well as their paths outside of their work for Transponans.
