The tour—developed by Garage Inclusive Programs Manager Galina Novotortseva—will describe the subjects depicted and techniques used. It includes audio description and models for tactile exploration.
Co–thinkers features works by world-famous contemporary artists who are rarely exhibited in Russia, on loan from Moscow-based private collections. It is the first in a series of projects at Garage Museum of Contemporary Art that seeks to expand the notion of inclusion in an art institution. The exhibition was created in collaboration with a team of four visitors with different disabilities, including Elena Fedoseeva, who studied at a boarding school for the blind.
