Sasha Obukhova will talk about one of the most interesting phenomena of Soviet Nonconformism - The Sretensky Boulevard Group, an informal association of artists which formed in the 1960s by Yuri Sobolev-Noleva, a talented organizer, art theorist and artist. The group consisted of Ilya Kabakov, Hulot Sooster, Ernst Neizvestny, Eric Bulatov, Oleg Vasiliev, Vladimir Yankilevsky, Viktor Pivovarov and Ivan Chuikov.
