The Flowerbed Space on Garage Rooftop has been created in partnership with Roketbank. Here you can take care of flowers, herbs, berries and vegetables and learn more about flora and their role in art.
At the masterclass by landscape and floristry studio Botanic Plot, participants will repot or revive their house plants. Artist Natalya Uspenskaya will run an open-air session where she will talk about botanic illustrations and help participants to create drawings. At the session on creating a herbarium you can learn about various techniques for working with dried plants and create your own composition, and at the public talk by cultural studies specialist Sasha Volodina and artist Anna Martynenko you will lean what the natural world means to art.
When the urban garden is open we will broadcast selected programs from the occasional show Station Radio.
