The Thomas Demand show Mirror Without Memory is over, with new projects opening in spring.
It's probably the best time to remember that a museum is not limited to its exhibits—it also has a variety of events on offer: meetings with artists, scientific conferences, research laboratories, games, lectures, concerts, and masterclasses. Participants of this interactive game will take on the role of a cultural manager and develop an event, learn about the difficulties, pleasures, and secrets of working in the field of culture and get to know other museum departments and their tasks. Divided into teams, they will design their own events: make an empathy map and a poster, write easy-to-read texts and find out what the fundraising department does. Each team has a supply of nerve cells and a game dice. During the game, participants are faced with the fact that preserving nerve cells is not an easy task, since success does not necessarily depend on specific actions and is sometimes just a matter of banal luck.
The game will end with a conversation with the staff and interns of Garage Education department.
