DESCRIPTION

Fashion and industrial design expert, Director of International at the London College of Fashion, Paul Yuille will describe his experience and the possible approaches of contemporary designers to creating sustainable clothes.

Talking about sustainable fashion, Paul Yuille will introduce selected projects carried out in this field at the London College of Fashion and London University of the Arts, as well as the key principles contemporary designers apply while working on the development of sustainable goods. The lecturer will concentrate on circular economy and personalization mechanisms that can influence the lifetime of a product.

London University of the Arts is the world’s leading institution in sustainable design. In 2016, it was named top university in the Arts and Design category by the QS World University ranking.

ABOUT THE LECTURER

Paul Yuille is a specialist in fashion design, designers' accessories, branding, and industrial design. He is the Director of International at the London College of Fashion within London University of the Arts. Yuille research focuses on how sustainable approaches can influence fashion and design. He currently completes a PhD thesis on this topic.
