DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art offers free tours of its 8 summer exhibitions for visually impaired and blind visitors. The tours will involve tactile interaction with specially provided materials and with some of the exhibits in the shows. 

Visitors can not only discover the many faces of contemporary art but also learn about Garage’s new building and its unique history. The tour has been developed by Garage’s Galina Novotortseva.

Tours for visually impaired visitors are free.

Getting There:

Our pavilion at 9 Krymsky Val, b. 45 is located by the Pionersky Pond in Gorky Park. Turn left after you enter the park through the first gate on your way from Oktyabrskaya metro station.

If you are a first-time visitor, Garage volunteers will meet you at the entrance to Oktyabrskaya station 20 minutes before the tour.
