Sketching Workshops by Anna Rastorgueva

12–13 January 2019
14:00–18:00

DESCRIPTION

Continuing Garage Museum of Contemporary Art’s partner program with the UNIQLO clothing brand, artist Anna Rastorgueva will deliver a series of workshops introducing sketching as a quick, expressive, and emotional medium.

Seeking inspiration in the illustrations of Grace Lee, a Japanese artist of Australian descent, the workshop participants will discuss the specific aura and plasticity of sketching—before harnessing the basic skills of marker drawings and creating a series of works in this technique.
