DESCRIPTION

Garage invites deaf and hard of hearing visitors on free tours of summer exhibitions in Russian Sign Language.

At Congo Art Works: Popular Painting, visitors will learn about the culture and traditions of the Democratic Republic of Congo and see works by Congolese popular painters from the collection of the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren (Belgium), presented alongside a selection of film posters, books, and photographs.

The tour of the solo exhibition of the world-famous architect David Adjaye, which presents twenty of his build projects, including the design for the campus of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, invites visitors to discuss the role of architecture in contemporary culture.

Finally, the exhibition of American artist Raymond Pettibon The Cloud of Misreading explores American culture of the 1980s, starting from cinema and literature, and finishing with comics and television. The show features over three hundred works, including Pettibon’s zines, and documents from his personal archive.
