Set in Berlin—one of the most fashionable of today's European capitals—this dynamic thriller is filmed in real time and in one take.
Victoria has just moved from Madrid to Berlin. In a night club she meets four guys—Sonne, Boxer, Blinker and Fusom. Her new friends promise to show her the real Berlin, but a stroll through the city at night isn't the end. It turns out that the guys have to deal with an old debt, and they ask Victoria to be their driver for that night. What started as fun suddenly turns out to be very serious and doesn’t seem to be a joy ride any more.
Victoria is remarkable for the method of filming that was used. This movie was made in one shot and the footage wasn't edited afterwards. The short script of this feature film consisted of twelve pages and the dialogue was mostly improvised by the cast. German actor, director and producer Sebastian Schipper wrote and directed the film.
