Teens Talk aims to alter widespread notions of "afterschool excursions," inviting young people to try their hand as contemporary art experts. No more listening to monologues – participants will engage in live discussions, and have the chance to voice their own opinions on the history of Russian performance.

Teens Talks are hosted by members of Garage Teens Team, upper school and university students who have spent the past academic year studying contemporary art and working in a variety of museum-related spheres with Garage.

The Teens Talk associated with Russian Performance: A Cartography of its History is held as a parallel program to Family Trip: Off to the Museum!, a project involving around 40 museums and libraries around Moscow.

Free admission with an exhibition ticket. Please register in advance by emailing kids@garagemca.org or calling Ekaterina Vladimirtseva on 89670371768. Spaces are limited; please assemble at Garage Information Desk 10 minutes prior to the start of the Teen Talk.
The exhibition contains some works suitable for people aged 18+ only. However, these works are located in a separate enclosed space and will not be covered in TeensTalk.
