DESCRIPTION

On March 25, GARAGE cardholders will be the first to see three new exhibition projects: Present Continuous; Assuming Distance: Speculations, Fakes, and Predictions in the Age of the Coronacene; and David Claerbout’s solo show Unseen Sound.

Visitors are invited to join scheduled tours of the exhibitions. The Rooftop Pavilion will be open for GARAGE cardholders, offering food and drinks from a special menu. From 18:00, visitors can enjoy Maya Klugman’s DJ-set at the Rooftop Pavilion.

Assuming Distance: Present Continuous, Speculations, Fakes, and Predictions in the Age of the Coronacene

The exhibition will present projects that explore the vast and intriguing territory of artistic speculation.

Curators: Ekaterina Lazareva, Ekaterina Savchenko, Iaroslav Volovod

Present Continuous

The exhibition tells the stories of five unrealized projects, including a reconstruction of Gorky Park and a light project for the Moscow Kremlin.

Curators: Ekaterina Inozemtseva and Sasha Obukhova, with the participation of Tonya Trubitsyna

David Claerbout. Unseen Sound

David Claerbout’s solo exhibition opens a series of three projects devoted to the moving image, which will take place over the summer. Using video, photography, and 3D technology, Claerbout creates images that defy visitors' expectations and understanding.

Curator: Valentin Diaconov
