The life of a lonely office worker is turned upside down after an encounter with a wolf. A contemporary take on the story of Little Red Riding Hood, Wild explores the clash between human instinct and social convention.
Ania is an IT specialist in a European company. She is lonely, reserved, and spends days between home and the office. Once, she sees a wolf on the side of a road—and the animal looks back at her as if he too has been waiting for their encounter. Strangely attracted to the wolf, Ania starts seeing herself in a new light.
A contemporary fairytale about the eternal opposition between nature and civilization, Wild reminds us of our close connection to the wilderness—as dangerous as it can be healing. The film premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and the screening at Garage will be its first in Moscow.
