Premiere: At the Philosophers’ School

DESCRIPTION

A documentary picture recounting the exciting adventures of a group of kids from Philosophers’ Street.

Humorous and tender, joyful and subtly sad, the film by Fernand Melgar tells the story of five girls and a boy taking their first steps at a special school in the Swiss town of Iverdon-les-Bains. Helping the children to learn how to live together is a team of enthusiastic teachers and therapists. Bit by bit, what seemed impossible in the beginning starts to look achievable, and the new students are going to learn everything despite all obstacles.
