Parents' Club: Dialogue with a Teenager. Season Two

Date

DESCRIPTION

Parents' Club is a series of open meetings and conversations between parents and psychologists, educators, and other professionals who can help build trusting relationships with teenagers during the period of reaching adulthood and the changes associated with it.

Participation in the club implies parents’ active involvement in the process of choosing topics for discussion and the exchange of experience. The club is conceptually linked to the eponymous podcast that touches upon such complex subjects as health, coming of age, and sexuality.

A total of five meetings are scheduled for June. Topics will be selected collectively a week before each event. The project offers the opportunity to develop a parental community that maintains connections outside Parents’ Club.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Sessions will take place at Garage Museum of Contemporary Art. Applications to take part in Parent’ Club must be submitted before May 26 to openmuseum@garagemca.org and marked “Parents’ Club. Dialogue with a Teenager.”
